In the premium category, wines are among the most remarkable and high quality wines of our property. The selection and inclusion in to this category has become through strict criteria and by taking into account all the wine characteristics and requirements of this category. The grapes are carefully selected from specific vineyards and each wine is individually rated by a panel of wine tasters, who decided on the final classification of the product in this supreme quality category. -
CLASSICS
This category of wines meets specific consumer requirements and satisfies a wide range of wine lovers. The name "Classic" is given because it is a category of good quality wine at a reasonable price that is in harmony with the matching quality. In order for a wine to be placed in the classic category, it is being assessed from our oenologists regarding the conditions of production of the cultivation of the vine until the bottling of the wine. -
SPARKLING
For a winery to produce sparkling wines, some basic requirements should be met. First of all suitable grape varieties need to flourish in the area, those with the organoleptic and analytical characteristics required for the production of sparkling wines. Equally important is the existence of “tradition” in the region, which ensures that the growers choose the appropriate way of vinification and achieve the best possible results. -
SEMI-SPARKLING
The production of semi-sparkling wines requires the same conditions as those of the sparkling wines category, which means the existence of an appropriate grape variety as well as relevant local tradition.To qualify a wine, as a semi-sparkling wine it must have pressure up to 3 atmospheres, meaning there should be less natural sparkling than a sparkling wine.The way semi-sparkling wines are produced is different (closed tank method or méthode Charmand - Charmat or cuve close), therefore their cost is less than the sparkling wines. -
DISTILATTES
Tsipouro is produced in many areas all over Greece, as well as in the region of Epirus. The production of a good quality Tsipouro, which is refined and free from adverse substances, requires appropriate means-namely stills strict standards-and appropriate raw material, the ideal grape variety. The grape variety Debina of Zitsa, which grows in our vineyards, is considered as the “queen” of Tsipouro. It gives finesse aromas, smooth and harmonious taste which makes it special.
